Cde Ian

You are back to your old song about the MDC-US/UK intelligence! To date you
have not provided any iota of evidence. Its a tired debate, which you have
failed to tilt in your favour, as such I will leave it there.

The weaknesses of the MDC are clear for all to see. Those weaknesses have
nothing to do with some imagined links to US/UK intelligence. As a matter of
fact, one of the cardinal weaknesses of the MDC is precisely that it has no
meaningful internal or external intelligence.

The weaknesses of the MDC arise from a post colonial class and or group of
leadership of the MDC which has not understood class politics. Its is a
generational weaknesses, and again this has nothing to to with the US/UK
intelligence.

The MDC is weak because of its position in the post-colonial history of
Zimbabwe. There is nothing more the MDC, in its current out look, can do to
better the lives the people of Zimbabwe. It has reached its historical
limit. What needs to be done is just obvious.

What I am emphasising is that do not confuse the inherent and clear
weaknesses of the MDC, which we all acknowledge as card carrying members of
the MDC, with some imagination about US/UK intelligence.

If there was ever such a deep link between the MDC and the US/UK
intelligence which can and could not be fought, I would be the first to hand
in my membership card. This issues of yours just makes me insane.

Back to the ZAPU issue. I learnt of similar hallucinations over the weekend
from a comrade in the SACP over the weekend. Where are you people getting
this outrageous thing about ZAPU? There is no, and there will never be such
a thing about ZAPU in modern Zimbabwe. We are the Zimbabweans and we are
telling you so. It will and will never work. We are long past liberation
parties.

With Communist love from Zimbabwe
