Perhaps if we kept abreast with whichever changes occurred on the action and
concept insult and subsequent divorcing it to vulgar in a political context.
In the same breadth we should locate all this and its error for inviting former
president Thabo Mbeki to the National Congress of the youth wing of an
organization that nurtured him which he also led.
Are you comrades saying that differences should just last a life time, that
circumstance of those years should be given continuity even when material
conditions do not allow.
Insults in question, especially when a need arouse for utter statements to be
reduced to being insults, perhaps providing a thorough description of our
leaders is today deemed insults, what is wrong with inviting Thabo Mbeki, what
is wrong if the leadership of the ANCYL feels that he come to share his wisdom.
Are we encouraging that political preference should be allowed to cast hatred
between leaders for a lifetime, turn a blind eye on issues just to merely avoid
being called names for extending invitation.
Thabo Mbeki won't be a voting delegate to that congress but an honored guest,
which makes me wonder why is TM attending the congress an issue or be reduced
to an act to spite other leaders.
I tend to differ with statements that President Malema once went into an
insulting spree on leaders, are we proudly demonstrating our confusion and
inabilities to expantiate between being objective and insulting, is it for an
obvious thought that the intentions is to decampaign Malema for reelection at
the upcoming National Congress of the ANCYL in Gallagher Estate next week.
Why are we boldly reducing this forum to an antagonism centre on leadership.
Comrade the National Executive Committee of the ANCYL has confirmed that the
National Congress as envisaged is continuing, PGCs are furthermore making
nominations on their preferred leadership taking the ANCYL forward and so far
Malema is proved to be still preferred for continuing being a driver towards
changing the lives of young people and locating them within the economic
freedom in our lifetime.
Long live President Julius Malema.
