Cde Vanguard, and others who may be interested:

It's hard to get definite news during a strike.

Leadership will be consulting members all the time but they won't want to
talk about it in public, i.e. where the employers can hear them.

So I would not know anything because I am not a member of SAMWU, and if I
was a member of SAMWU I would not want to say anything until the deal was
done.

Sorry if I seem to be spelling things out in too-simple terms but I guess
there may be people who don't know all these things.

I don't know what the SAMWU Gauteng Press Conference will say tomorrow, but
I guess it will not tell us much about the negotiations. Probably it is more
about the actions that SAMWU will be taking.

So altogether I don't think there will be much clarity in public before the
agreement is signed with SAMWU (and don't forget IMATU).
