Thanks Again!

This merger reluctance its creating problem, hence are on strike whilst other
are at work.

Two Head Offices clearly it won't be easy as they are looking at it.

No, Cde Vanguard, I understood your question.

It's just that SAMWU is certainly "Public Sector", and even "Public
Service", but not everybody knows that it is not part of the PSCBC with the
other Public Sector/Service employees. So for the sake of those who don't
know, one needs to remind them that SAMWU remains on strike, while the
others have settled (without any strike).

Cde Tahir has sent out an invitation for the Gauteng SAMWU Press Conference
tomorrow, but not a full statement. The notice only says:

*"The purpose of this press conference will be to pronounce on the details
of the strike currently underway in the Gauteng province; the strike plan
for the province would be made available and pronouncements would be made
about allegations in the media, against the SAMWU provincial leadership and
the participation of the JHB region in the national strike action."*

I would expect that a longer statement will be issued after the press
conference.
