Dear YCLers given that this is the YCL platform I would like us to start a project to discuss the statements we receive. We must do this with a view to provide constructive feedback to those who draft or circulate those statements.
To be frank for example the statement by the YL in Limpopo need to be improved technically. When a statement is released it must be simple and straight to the point, intelligible to the reader. I raised this with Cde Klaas in a private email sometimes ago but it appears there's still room for major improvement. Achievement of greater things which benefits the masses of our people at all calculated times, is everything though not at the rate of our people 's anticipation considering material conditions our Province operates within, particularly the commissioned unwillingness, orchestrated sabotages through consistent worker uprising per infiltration, disorderly within the functionality of the overall government systems and filtered expenditure. The Province of Limpopo has since 2011 been preoccupied with activities which politics played foul and yet we all had communities to provide essential services to, Education system that's engulfed with forever growing pass rates, the unemployed elderly and youth to create survival opportunities to, crime to combat and moral regeneration programs to uphold. All these requires financial autonomy and decisive decision making, reigning from political to administrative leadership without any impediments facilitated by allegations. On Job Creation, we acknowledge the improvements as brought by infrastructural development at private and the public sector, which have reduced the unemployment rate of our province. We do the acknowledgment in fuller consideration of facts that employment plays a pivotal role in crime and substance abuse reduction and maintains respect in families. We call upon the workers of Limpopo, particularly at the mining sector to respect the labour and needs demand processes, which in them entails peace and unity of workers, we as well do not suggest that workers shouldn't down tools to make their demands heard, but should at all durations remember the negative impact of suspended production on service delivery and economic transformation. On Education, Young and adult people of Limpopo should heed the advices and solemn call as made through the SOPA, to go to school such that their wishes to live a bettered life is not deterred by lack of academic possession, as we refuse to appoint in cadreship or nepotism as they are root causes of collapsing services. The Municipalities, private companies and sector government departments should make provision of full package bursaries and furthermore allocate employment opportunities at the time of completion, as these will contribute in our endeavour for limited state dependence. Businesses in our communities including those owned by foreign nationals, should also be engaged by ourselves as Youth, Learner/Student, Non governmental, Community Based Organizations Formations and municipalities to contribute in daily running of schools and also motivate their employees to go for Adult Based Education and Training. On Youth Development, Majority of Young people in the Province are without skills, employment and education, which to a greater extend the Provincial Government should incur all the blame as a custodian for sustainable development. We call upon State Enterprises and Agencies, more especially Limpopo Economic Development Agency, to develop living and people realistic projects in communities and provide skills to young people, because satisfied young people are a weapon to defuse crime and abnormal infection of diseases. Universities and FETs should widely open doors for learning, and reduce the prioritizing of fees above awarding children with necessary skills, or let alone expel students in the expense of guiding them. On HIV/AIDS, We have witnessed Government efforts to curb the infection of HIV/AIDS, and further feel that more has to be done, thus communities and every formation found in them are active participants in order to have our targeted healthy society. We are making a humble plea to churches, schools, tarvens, employment areas and our streets to be supportive and to play a fundamental role in educating the frequents of their organizations about the deadly aftermath of unfaithfulness to our intimate partners. On Administrators, We have observed since their arrival in the province that their existence is contributing in the infertility of the political grounds, particularly within the ruling ANC, as the limited release of funds to government institutions is not in essence saving, but stalling to provision of much needed services which to heightened mess, increased our mortality rate and left people hopeless of our government, and fertilizing grounds for opportunists to laugh about our failures to better the infrastructure, Health, Education and crime combating systems. Regardless of the premier 's praise and correcter putting of perspective on cooperation, we still stand by our call for their removal. On the COSATU Protest outside the Legislature, It is angering, intolerable and bitter to observe the attitude of some tigers in sheep skin masquerading to be vanguards of worker and anti class ideologists. The continued senseless and opportunistic organizing of protests and marching to demand the resignation of Comrade Cassel Mathale and his Executive, is becoming too dangerous for the people of Limpopo and to the lives of the Premier and MECs respectively. It is therefore proper for the urgent convening of Alliance Summit which will be better positioned to articulate and understand the premise of the demand and its drive force. The ANCYL Limpopo is proud to have a leader of Comrade CC Mathale 's caliber, who is at all times calm, objective, visionary and acknowledging if erred. We are swayed beyond reasonable doubts that he is the best thing that ever happened to the people of Limpopo, and thus support him unconditionally. We are cat and mouse with corruption and make a demand to the Premier to open more platform other than the Anti Corruption Hotline, to report and attack corruption as in when it or suspected to feature, other than have bitter business people wearing victim masks and becoming abusive to the use of Law Enforcement Agencies. We continue to call upon anybody that has evidence of corruption to approach the Authorities, and advice communities to build or form strong Anti-Corruption Groups and tackle it as it shows its nose, but also advise them not to be like FOLE, Limpopo SACP and COSATU who uses the allegations on corruption to settle bitter scores, as it is abusive to the vulnerable honest members of our society.
