*MARKET TODAY*
Market is likely to open lower as investor's sentiment was shattered on fears the deepening recession is raising bad-loan costs and hurting corporate earnings. Yesterday Indian market finished on a positive note, but gains were marginal as stocks came under selling pressure in the afternoon. The Nifty remained below 2800 for major part of the day while the Sensex was hovering around 9000 mark. Finally, the Sensex gained 27 points to close at 9,042 and the Nifty gained 13 points at 2,789. The global cues not all encouraging, and an extended weekend, buyers are likely to remain on the sidelines for most of the trading day today. This in result could see the index drift lower as the day progresses. According to data released by the NSE, in the last session, *FIIs *were net buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 113.35 crore and bought index options worth Rs 123.71 crore. They were net buyers of stock futures to the tune of Rs 117.11 crore and sold stock options worth Rs 72.02 crore. *FOR MORE DETAIL *CLICK HERE <http://www.16anna.com/morninignotes.aspx> *OR GO THROUGH THE ATTACHMENT...* Regards *Guiness Research Team* Guiness Securities Limited 18, D.Park Road.
