Key benchmark is likely to open lower as the weakness across overseas equities will weigh on sentiment. Finally the Sensex gained 45 points to close at 10,048 and the Nifty was up 26 points at 3,108. According to data released by the NSE, in the last session, *FIIs* were net buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 165.93 crore and bought index options worth Rs 90.91 crore.
