Same here-really good for serial numbers, and passwords- I make a lot of
different
passwords, but don't bother to remember any but my computer's main one. Also, I
have recipes, code snippets and email invoices. There are lyrics/sayings,
travel tips,
lifehack tips, and gaming tips, all gleaned from the web. There are some
bookmarks
of strange things I haven't a clue how to organize, like my collection of sites
with different
element periodic tables. I have a collection called "How Do I..." where I keep
instructions
on things that I rarely do, so I don't have to constantly relearn the event
(how to share
files with a PC, how to make MySQL work with PHP and Apache, how to write a
robot
txt file, etc.) I don't keep large pdfs in Yojimbo, I have a separate Finder
document folder for those.

I would recommend Yojimbo for all the little things that need a place to stay,
where you can find them without much trouble. Like the kitchen junk drawer,
vital to every home.

I don't use Yojimbo for projects--for projects, I use Circus Ponies' Notebook.
Can also keep lots of different files in it, but can link and organize to a
greater
extent.
