It seems from you mail you have done so, but just to make sure:
Menu->File->Preferences->Security
- For password entry while creating items, tick "Creating encrypted
items".
- For script _access_ to items, tick the two "Accessing password/
encrypted items from scripts".
Did you make sure those three checkboxes are active?
