Hi
(this email was written at 03:40 with a feber an coold-sweats so look out for badly formulated sentences:))

I started looking at some of the Yoper scripts to make some python stuff for YIS. The first thing i wanted to start with is the keymap, language and localisation stuff.
The problem is that im not sure how the scripts are suppose to work and will there be any major changes in the scripts in the next release?
Any information would be great. Like where the scripts come from and who has created or are maintaning them.

As an example of what kind of stuff im stuck on:
I was looking for a place to save the keymap after the user has chosen one.
Then i looked around in the init scripts for somthing related to this.
There was a file called loacalization that seemd right and its probebly a knoppix script.
And that file is suppose to write to i18n, knoppix and keyboard, but only knoppix existed and it didnt contain any localization stuff.

As some of you problebly know im not the most experienced Linux or Yoper user, so any suggestions to how/where the stuff we need configuration for is changed would be nice.
I can do most of the programming but i have some problems with my linux system knowledge.

Cheers Pettern
