Hi ladies and gentlemen
Maybe Will made a mistake by inviting me to join the /Yoshimi/ developer
team? 😕
So I thought I better ask all of you: Do you really want a C++-puristic
shit stirrer
to join you?
*YES!* The /Yoshimi/ code is essentially C code superimposed by a lot
of unmotivated
classes (ie "I-feel-like-making-this-idea-a-class" classes), a severe
lack of encapsulation
(what the heck is that?), lots of redundant code (so what?), unnecessary
pointers and
dynamic allocation all over the place (we love it!), and quite a few
errors which are
hard to detect and to rectify (where?).
*NO!* The /Yoshimi/ code is very mature and good enough "as is", easy
to modify, and
will be essentially bug free in a couple of months or so.
Please reply YES or NO. 😁
Cheers
Rainer
