Hi there. I created a new identity in Entourage and a new user in System Preferences and it worked fine I could add an event to my new Entourage calendar and it would show up in iCal and vice versa. So, it would seem that at an OS level there is no problem.
Therefore, I rebuilt my database following your instructions. However, I am still having the same problem. Entourage calendar in Entourage and Entourage calendar in iCal do not seem to be communicating with each other at all, and if I try to add an event to the Entourage Entourage calendar it vanishes. Events added to the iCal Entourage calendar do stay.
