Since Entourage does not synchronize with external devices, I've been trying to use the 'Sync with iCal' feature (then using iSync to sync with the iPhone) and it has been incredibly troublesome.
At first things were OK, but at one point all my events got duplicated. Argh. I would delete the extras here and there but it was annoying. Then they got duplicated again. And again. Very annoying. So I decided to turn off the syncing between Entourage and iCal and start fresh. I deleted all the extra events in Entourage. Then turned on the syncing again. The Entourage calendar was created in iCal but it had zero events in it. I followed all the advice I could read about flushing the SyncServices database and tried again and again. No dice. Currently the Entourage calendar in iCal flickers in and out of existence while I have iCal running. There are zero events visible in that calendar and when I sync to my iPhone it shows zero events. I want my Entourage calendar events on my iPhone 3G and I can't seem to make this happen. PocketMac promises to do this for $25 at http://www.pocketmac.net/product.php?id=21 I will gladly pay this price unless someone either tells me A) Here's the free solution to your problem... or B) PocketMac's product won't work for you because...
