Check to see where you fall in the database size poll. <http://blog.entourage.mvps.org/2009/06/poll_how_big_is_your_database.html> Less than 1GB databases are 19%. The biggest group is 36% for between 1-4 GB. Remember a little extra space is not a bad thing. Think of it as padding or creating a partition just for your database. Wasted Space: The database will be left with 'wasted' space in it every time you delete something. However, this is not all bad, since the wasted space is used up with new data as it is added. This way, over a period of time (assuming that you are deleting stuff as you go) the database will probably reach an optimum size, after which the stuff you delete is roughly equal to the stuff you add, and no further growth takes place. -- Diane -- YouTalk mailing list List address: [email protected] List information: http://entourage.mvps.org/support_options/list.html List moderator: [email protected], [email protected] To unsubscribe: mailto:[email protected]?subject=unsubscribe
