I have a question about reinstalling MS Office 2004 on a new Mac.

I am now running MS Office 2004 Student and Teacher Edition in OS 10.4.11 on
two Macs:

1) iMac OS 10.4.11
2) MacBook Pro OS 10.4.11

The MacBook Pro will be retired -- hard disk completely wiped.

MS Office 2004 Student and Teacher Edition has three licenses. I have used
two of the licenses.

Questions:

1) If I install MS Office 2004 Student and Teacher Edition on the new
MacBook Pro, and it is no longer on the original MacBook Pro, then I have
only two licenses in operation. Do I need to "recover" the retired license?
Does MS really track the three license numbers?

2) I will be reinstalling all of Office 2004 into Snow Leopard. Is there
some way that I can do all the MS Office updates in one installation,
instead of the multiple updates released over the last several years?

3) What is the best procedure for brining in my existing mail and database
(include accounts, address book, calendar, etc.) from the existing Entourage
installation into the new Entourage installation.

I think that I can install Entourage onto the new Mac, and then simply move
my existing MUD folder from the old Mac to the new Mac. Will that work?

4) Currently Entourage Address Book and Entourage Calendar sync with
Apple's Address Book.app and iCal.app.

If I reinstall Entourage on the new Mac, will that cause sync problems with
the new Address Book.app and iCal.app? (I am thinking that the answer to
that one is "no, until I turn on the Entourage pref for "sync").

If I use the previous MUD folder, will it cause any problems syncing with
the new Address Book.app and iCal.app? (I have not yet asked Apple how to
get my existing Address Book.app and iCal.app from OS 10.4.11 in the new OS
10.6.x.)

5) I'm OK with MS Office 2004. Is there any advantage to my switching to
Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac Home & Student Edition?

Many thanks/Roger+
