There is only one combo updater needed. Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac 11.5.5 Update released June 09, 2009. 59.2 MB. This is a combo updater and contains all previous updates! <http://tinyurl.com/klxgnq> > > 3) What is the best procedure for brining in my existing mail and database > (include accounts, address book, calendar, etc.) from the existing Entourage > installation into the new Entourage installation. After you install, open Entourage so it will create a new Microsoft User Data folder and a new blank Identity. Delete the blank Identity and drag over your Main Identity from the older computer. Open Entourage and you are in your old Identity. > > I think that I can install Entourage onto the new Mac, and then simply move > my existing MUD folder from the old Mac to the new Mac. Will that work? Rather than moving the entire Microsoft User Data folder to documents (you could drag over the entire MUD folder to the desktop), I would just drag in the individual folders you need like your Identity and Script Menu Items folder to the new Microsoft User Data folder. I have found when moving to a new computer, you can move contents of folders but use the new default root folders like Documents and Microsoft User Data folder. Old folders could have different permissions. If you are upgrading to Snow Leopard at the same time, be sure you remove the older duplicate Microsoft fonts. Office 2004 installs in the User's Library/Fonts folder. Use Font Book to validate fonts. This will show you the dupes to delete.
