I¹m one of those who has held off buying Office 2008 because of the enormous amount of negative feedback about the product since it was released. I finally surrendered yesterday and placed an order for Office 2008. But, I¹m sitting here waiting to be disappointed when it arrives.
It is hard to believe the number of disappointed, angry customers regarding this product on sites like apple.com, amazon.com, etc. If Microsoft was relying on this product to be a successful, sustainable business, they would be LONG GONE. My wish is really simple. I wish that Microsoft gets it in 2010... Gets that their deepest responsibility is to create an office suite that amazes Macintosh users instead of angering and disappointing them. It just cannot be that hard to produce a suite of four programs that take full advantage of Apple¹s hardware and operating system, are stable as rock, as secure as bank (?) and has a common sense, friendly user interface.
