I didn't want to find myself expending considerable time and effort to deal with problems getting the 2008 version to work the way I want it. Granted, there may also be issues with the new Outlook for Mac when it comes out but, given that I have no problems with Entourage 11.4.0, I've decided to wait and see. At that time, depending on the cost, the interface, and/or the magnitude of problems reported regarding Outlook, if anything appears undesirable or exceedingly troublesome I might, indeed, switch to Mail instead.
