Hello, List -- I have noticed that mail from this list has been coming in in weird, sporadic bursts recently, and I am wondering if there is some problem with the listserver that is causing it, or if it is somehow something on my end:
1. Until 01/12/10 I received list messages pretty much every day. 2. From 01/13/10 through 01/19/10, I received absolutely nothing. 3. On 01/20/10, I received 2 messages. 4. On 01/21/10, I suddenly received 27 messages. 5. On 01/22/10, I received 6 messages. 6. From 01/23/10 through 01/27/10, I received absolutely nothing again. 8. Today, I received 6 messages (I am currently in Asia, where it is now 01/28/10). Having been a list member since Day 1, I certainly understand that, from time-to-time, there may be no postings, but to receive nothing for up to a week, then suddenly receive dozens, and at a time when there have been no recent software, OS, etc. upgrades (traffic usually spikes during those times), I am beginning to wonder if there is some problem with the listserver's sendmail process and, if so, is it affecting everyone, or is it affecting me only (and, if so what can I do to fix it?)??
