Hi Tom!

Something other than the update affected your Entourage files. The updates
do not touch personal files but only touch the application files
themselves. While the update may have triggered something, that
"something" was already there and just waiting to happen.

All I can say is that your report is unusual, however, no one can make
guarantees about what will happen on your own system. I suspect the
problem was too long ago to even look for clues as to what happened.

The best assurance you can ever take is to back up your files prior to any
update.
