I just signed up for "yout...@entourage" to get some questions answered. I
don't know whether responding to this email I just received is the protocol,
but I'll pose my questions just in case it is the right format: TOO THE PROPER
• My wife has a rebuilt MacBook I just bought that is loaded with Office
2008, a ton of programs neither of us will ever use, and 500 GB on the HD, half
of which is free. The problem with Entourage is when she opens it up, the
"beach ball" starts spinning, and she has to wait an inordinately long time to
do anything. Why does this happen? And what is the fix?
• I have a iMac G5 that crashed. A local computer repair outfit that was
recommended by Apple - the "genius Bar" thought it was a capacitor problem
better fixed by a third source - offered to download the HD so I could save
some info. So I have the HD, but is it possible to recover my address book, and
related info, from Entourage, or did that simply burn with the crash?
If you can answer any or all of this, or direct me to the proper resource that
can, I would be grateful.
Thanks.

COOL! I didn't know that. It works, too. I can drag events from one calendar
to the other. Not as slick as overlaying them or having them synchronized
side-by-side in Outlook, but it works.
Another oddity in Entourage 2008 EWS. Exchange Calendars (other than the
default personal) aren't accessible from the "Calendar" pane in Entourage's
main window. They show up only in the list of Public Folders when the Main
Window shows all folders as part of the Mail view.
And, no, I haven't been on vacation or ignoring my inbox for two weeks,
William. It's been that long since I received my last YouTalk digest :-)
Thanks,
Jim Robertson
