Hi, I've had reports from Entourage 2008 users after updating to 10.6.3 involving sync.
1) I suggest that you backup before updating. I suggest a clone. It took one user 4 hrs to restore from Time Machine. 2) Download the Apple combo rather than use the download via Software Updater. <http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1017> 3) Be sure everything is quit before running. Log out of your User's folder. Hold down the Shift Key when logging in. This disables all login items including the hidden ones like the Microsoft Database daemon. 4) Run Repair Permissions in Disk Utility.
