I think I found a bug in Entourage Address Book. If I receive a call on my iPhone from another iPhone, and tap on that phone number in iPhone to "add to contacts," iPhone Address Book adds the new phone number under the field "iPhone."
Then I sync iPhone to Mac's Address Book.app, and the new listing for "iPhone" goes into Address Book.app. But that phone number does not go into Entourage's Address Book. I suppose that's because there is no corresponding field in Entourage's Address Book. (Shouldn't Entourage ask me what to do? "Hey, I have no field for this sync from Address Book.app. What do you want to do? Add new field?") But Entourage is silent, and simply doesn't show the data at all. So I changed a custom field in Entourage's phone number list to be "iPhone". But the iPhone number does not move over from Address Book.app to Entourage's Address Book's new "iPhone" field UNTIL I first remove it from Adress Book.app, and then replace it. So now I have no idea how many of the listings for "iPhone" in Address Book.app are included or not included in Entourage Address Book. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Roger S.
