This is a very good point. It doesn't matter whether you are vining audio discs,discs in .shn or flac format or stuff that has been downloaded,the critical point is that the source/ discs must be clean. I'm fully aware of the benefits of lossless compression but you can .shn any old rubbish.....it doesn't immediately make it *good*. Similarly you can upload (or whatever the jargon is),the most flawed disc you have.........just because others can download this at their leisure does not mean it is *good*. shn a clean source disc.......great. upload from a clean source......great. distribute an audio vine from a clean source...great.
