Interesting! My earlier predictions finally came true about Atheros 
rebranding the ZD1211 chip.. However it looks like their rebranding 
efforts didn't even get into the EEPROM...

Try the vendor driver, not the community one.

I have one, and I've spent quite a bit of time trying to get it working. 
I'm close but it's not working reliably yet. This RF is more complicated 
than others. I'll return to this task soon.
