Hi Blossom, Thanks for your reply. No, I'm not a Buddhist, but I'm very sympathetic to many of their teachings and practices. I think that certain types of Buddhist meditation, for instance, insight meditation, can complement many different spiritual paths. I've especially enjoyed reading Bankei's teachings as well as attending a zazen group from time to time. That's great that you do sitting meditation! Brendan
