ED,

Do they? Do you? I can't. How often do you carry out your day-to-day chores
fully engaged? If we can't even drink a cup of tea in peace, how can we
possibly
not get caught up in the stresses and tensions of the usual day? True peace of
mind isn't found sitting by a babbling brook in a dingly dell, but in the
fox-hole when bullets and grenades are going off all around us. 'When hungry, I
eat' is something 99% of us don't do.

Mike

Yes, and non-Zenists do that too.

Take care of the Universe around you. Including you.

Yes, and non-Zenists do that too.

PS: Zenists who have not had a kensho experience do all of the above too.
