Mike; This one about impermanence is a hard one when one is having a great time. But finding particularly difficult flowing with impermanence in a relationship. One gets very quickly attach to some moments during a relationship in a way that if that change, one tries at all cost to have the same moment or alike back!. It's so true that statement that we don't suffer due to impermance but due to the believe that things are permanent. We only say with the mind that are impermanent but in practice. Definitely this one about impermanence is a very hard one for all its implications of change while having a great time.
I'd like to ask to all how do you get on with impermanence?. What are your experiences here?. Do you struggle with it? Have you ever noticed that in these moments there is nothing that you can say is 'me'; that they are only moments, so therefore impermanent; and that to try to attach to them ultimately leads to suffering (because there is, in actual fact, nothing to attach to)?
