Ok Chris.
There is a danger in this, a common problem among christians for the same
reason.
They do not exercise to strengthen and control their minds.
The result is the insanity seen among it's most sincere followers.
Sincere young men who give their all to the Lord and lose their minds as a
result.

'I don't really like the word "control." You know, "who controls what?".'

Sexual reproduction entails two people taking a level of control over their
partners bodies and minds. For this reason people instinctively strive to
dominate and control.

For this reason I practise abstinence.
Not because I seek a spiritual path.
Not because I seek to emmulate the buddha.
Not because I beleive in god.
Not because I seek enlightenment.

But because I resent the violation of my autonomy.
Autonomy is to be self governing, this is the essence of self control.
To seek to control another is to forsake control of yourself.
It is not necessary to fight oneself, to govern oneself.
It is not necessary to live in denial of need to have control over yourself.
It is only a matter of exercising your will in appropriate ways at appropriate
times.

I hope I did bore you with the length of this post.
