There you go again.  Asking those '500 years/lifetimes as a fox' questions.

To answer 'yes' would assert there is such a thing as compassion, and that it 
has some kind of balancing relationship with greed and hatred.

To answer 'no' also asserts there is such a thing as compassion, but it doesn't 
have that kind of relationship with greed and hatred.

So, how about...'Come closer and I'll tell you'.
