It's the great cultural divide: Chi is Chi and West is West and ne'erthe twain shall meet. You were exposed to chi talk as a child and it took root. We just have to abandon our mind COMPLETELY. * Be fearless, as per Heart Sutra. * Xinxinming said it, "no pick or choose". * Diamond sutra said, "(completely) surrender our mind. Heart dwells no where." * Diamond sutra said, "(absolutely) no attachment to dharma... include diamond sutra." Just open our heart and experience. Just practice, you shall witness.
