I'm sorry, but I don't understand.  Why would I need to look at art or actually 
know an artist when I have access to a dictionary definition of art?

Isn't this exactly what you implied when I offered my zen-related definitions?  
You rejected them out-of-hand and said I should just go consult a dictionary.  
At that time you didn't seem to care if I had ever practiced zen myself or ever 
knew and talked with anyone who was considered a 'zen master'.

I've just assumed this was your standard modus operandi and that you wouldn't 
accept anybody's personal definition of terms on any topic and preferred 
dictionary definitions.   

Why is it important now vis-a-vis art and wasn't important then vis-a-vis zen?
