Merle, I'm sorry, but I don't understand. Why would I need to look at art or actually know an artist when I have access to a dictionary definition of art?
Isn't this exactly what you implied when I offered my zen-related definitions? You rejected them out-of-hand and said I should just go consult a dictionary. At that time you didn't seem to care if I had ever practiced zen myself or ever knew and talked with anyone who was considered a 'zen master'. I've just assumed this was your standard modus operandi and that you wouldn't accept anybody's personal definition of terms on any topic and preferred dictionary definitions.
