Seriously, all Tortoise-Shell Coat cats are female.

And some people will not keep male cats because of the spray-marking of 
territory that even neutered Toms will do, if they ever learned that behavior.

The numerical part of the cat's name came from our telephone Area Code of the 
time, which has since been changed in our part of the State.  And the cat is 
dead of old age, buried under a flowering tree here in the desert.

All things pass, as we who eat beans know.
