I used to think, when I was 5 or 6, that "Cat" was the opposite of "Dog".
I think that's just the way that the "Dick-Jane-and-Sally" textbook readers in
USA were set up, in the 1950's schools.
So, when I mentioned this opposition, or dualism, to my ex-, several years ago,
she asked if it didn't seem all the more natural why she had left me. Whereas,
...I think that she just does not *understand*. She's younger, and used
different readers. She missed the BOAT. ;-)
