Joe,

I don't have to go to a very quiet place to hear my ringing ears. the doctor
always says I have a weak kidney. When I take a lot of tonic, the sound seems
to grow weaker. However, I take care not to have it disappear completely, as it
is too early to see death yet.

Many think 'chi' is psychological or metaphysical. But my experience shows me
it is physical and can be detected by modern instruments.

Anthony

Anthony,

Just go to the quietest place you have available. And if that place is not
silent, then put cotton in the ears. Just listen. You will hear the sound(s).
Please let us know how this experiment "goes", for you. This is just a test,
or, a sampling. There's nothing implied by this. Sit in good zazen posture, or
a posture of your choice, in order to be most relaxed, and so you can be
patient to hear the high-pitched sound in the ears. The sound may CHANGE as you
listen.

This sound is not due to a pathological condition, no; not at all.

Will you give us a report, afterwards, pls? Wishing you a good experiment with
this.
