Suresh,

What I talk about ringing ears is associated, like you say, a weak kidney yin.
But if yours is some supermundabe experience, I have to admit I know nothing.

You may forget what I say about Tibetan Buddhism, as they always come up with
something unusual. They absorb a lot of theory and practice from Indian tantra,
which is sometimes difficult to find in agreement with original Buddhism.

Thanks for your finding. Ringing is not the right word for that sound.
Below are the extracts from website for the ringing in ears.

“Clinically, a kidney yin deficiency may be manifested soreness,
aching and weakness of the lumbar region and knees, blurred vision,
poor memory, etc. A yin deficiency leading to blurred vision, poor
memory, etc. A yin deficiency leading to yang preponderance will
produce tidal fever, night sweating, dizziness, ringing in the ear
(tinnitus), spermatorrhea, and sexual dreams.”

“Ringing in the ears (Tinnitus):
indicates experienced on hearing a noise in one or both ears. The
noise may be constant or coming and going, may vary in intensity and
character.
It may sound like:
high-pitched whistle
bells
an engine running
rushing water
crickets”

Please note the sound I hear is different from above. Some times in
the night if you walk in a garden you may hear some ‘hiss’ sound,
which are produced by some insects, which is almost similar to this
sound.

But I have cleanly observed that when I hear the insect sound and
personnel internal sound are two different. If you concentrate on the
sound, it will be more intense, and slowly one’s mind (continuous
chatter of mind) will become quiet.

I have no time due to my special children and family situation to
drown in it. I am sure that this sound is not because any medical
issues in the body. The sound is beyond the body and it is one’s own
nature. I need to tell one more thing that is when I make conscious
thinking and realize certain truth, then my brain area vibrates like
anything and head goes up and down as if somebody forcibly make it
move up and down.

The sound is present even while writing this mail. Also my brain area
vibrates because I speak truth of these.

I even had sweetening tongue many times, a blissful experience at
times I used to have. When I wrote to one of the forum, one fellow
wrote to me back that it may be because I might had sweets sometime
back, the memory of it returns. I have replied to him that I do not
eat sweets and if at all taken that also very rarely. This happens
even when I did not had sweets for more than a month. This is not just
sweetness; this is a kind of tingling experience. And it is not an
imagination also.

These are definitely divine experience. And hence anyone in the forum
can ask any enlightened teacher if you come across. I know one
enlighten teacher, who is Eckhart Tolle.

I have also posted Ramana Maharishi statement on this sound and also
Thirumular a siddha poem. So it is the sound of soul or sound of
spirit or sound of space or sound of silence or it is the sound of
life energy.

You now need to ask Edger. Even Edger and Joe started hearing this
sound. Ask him how come he suddenly started hearing this sound. If the
sound according to you is due to kidney problem, How Mr.Edger or
Mr.Joe had got it all of sudden?. No Medical problem occurs all of
sudden, only divine experience comes all of sudden.

You said “a Tibetan theory says that it is not bad to have ringing
ears. Once it stops, be careful to expect death.”

Mr.Anthony I love to expect death, because death happens only to body
and ‘I’ the self can see the body dying and that is the final
liberation, Maha Samadhi.

Best wishes
Suresh
