Edgar,

I respect the working-gals, but that's me. ;-)

Yep, I know it, and it *is* rather a plague. Less and less real grunt-work is
needed "anymore" (?true?) so maybe the overall situation can continue to
improve as far as education is concerned. Not there there are jobs available
for the educated! ;-)

(Ours is lately an over-educated, high life).

I found, though, that a lot of these guys are plenty reflective and even quite
philosophical. They love their wives and kids, and this opens them and seems
to keep them very fresh, if you come to know them, especially when you work
(hard) with them, on a daily basis, as I did, for years. By the way, they have
little respect for physical flunkies like myself, who now sit at desks all day,
who think they are building a world. See, it's relative. And, when it comes
to Zen, some of these fellows have it all over a few of us (well, I'll keep it
with a small "z", zen, but I forget "what" means what to whom, or vice versa).

If we think those guys can't appreciate others' blessings, then it's up to us
to SHOW them our shining gifts; and, to show our appreciation for them, *TO*
them, to BUILD them something ourselves, fully up-to-Code, like a beautiful
temple or gym to the manual arts, and to back-woods philosophization, where
Nature is found, in fact, and where monks retire to practice, and retirees
retire to retire.

Hail!, hard-hats and foot-soldiers! ("toot"-soldiers, too!),

Scientists and veterinarians,

and the Self-Unemployed,

(like m'self, but I blush),

;-)
