yes all and edgar..and i did 3 hours of solid weeding in my zen garden on
monday afternoon...weeding to me is meditation in action...
however to quieten my mind i have now realised i need to sit stand/ remain
silent and do the breath..
the only way at the moment i can work with the breath joe and mike is to
count..slowly to 10..the breath being taken in and slowly to 10 to release the
breath..
this is the only way i can focus on breath..otherwise i am thinking of where is
my breath..it seems so quiet...i can't hear it..i need to hear it to clear my
mind...
'
thank you for your support all...
what really stumbles me is when i read and see atrocities committed in our
world and i cannot do anything about it...
what good am i with all this being calm and compassionate...where can it lead
me?...
yes i know if we all practised then the world would surely be a calm and
peaceful place...
but it is not..yes we still have work to do to change the consciousness of
mankind..
it is on going the task and i think that folk are getting more aware and
practising meditation...
however my heart goes out to folk who must suffer through no fault of their
own..they are innocent and the wickedness is all around them and they are
indeed victims of injustices...
tell me then where must my attention turn?...
i cannot turn away
i am suffering when i hear and see these atrocities...
any advice for me would be most welcomed...
thank you for your patience from one who has a very rebellious streak and hates
rules and regulations....

All,
I was just telling Joe I spent most of the day in active meditation in my
garden.
What does that mean? It means seeing and experiencing Buddha in every thing
around you, and interacting with it AS Buddha.
Not understanding that continually Buddha continually manifests in all forms is
a horrible error. It condemns 90% of your world to darkness...
All forms are Buddha, pure and simple. There is nothing else when fully
awakened!
