well well well..i'm not giving up my soul to zen buddhism... i was perhaps confused in my youth when i was going through my atheist period stumbled on zen and presto it seemed to connect... now i see i do not connect.. i need to do research further to see if there is any connection at all... hence i think i am in the wrong room.. human beings are amazing...constantly arguing and trying to score points over what they "believe" to be they way.. i am not into arguing... i do not have to prove anything.. if you have no soul you have no soul..and that is that...
whatever.. enjoy your day.. cheers merle Merle, Welcome to the wrong room! You're in the right place. See what it DOES have, Merle. And there is NO need to leave your religion. As Bill! points out, Zen practice is not necessarily Zen *BUDDHISM*. You can audit the "course" without matriculating. Funny, the word "matriculate" always makes me think I have to run to the bathroom fast. --Joe PS Wonderful! photo of Prof. Suzuki, long a favorite pic of mine. And, say: didn't he have the eyebrows? The old man, not the kitten... . > Merle Lester <merlewiitpom@...> wrote: > > appears i am in the wrong room. > > apologies to all...c u > > merle with soul( soles on both feet...ha!
