Hi Joe,

I think Kapok tree is a tropical rainforest tree. We used to have lots of them 
in indonesia since our beds and pillows used to be filled with kapok. Not sure 
now....

Merle,

Could probably grow well in our desert.  Will look for a specimen at the 
nurseries, here.  Or maybe grow from seed if I can obtain.  I have never seen 
such a tree.  Thank you!

When you make a "Zen" stick from this, do you leave the thorns ON?  ;-)
