I am shocked that someone who is not there can react to a simple name calling incident on an email list.(I pretty much only take on those who come off as being somehow above the common drudges who inhabit this sandbox) It would seem to me that if you were indeed one with everything, someone recognizing the fact that you are one with even the concentrated effulent from scum sucking pigs, and one with backdoor johnnies that hang out outside the senior citizens' centers would be an honor rather than an insult. ....but maybe I have a different idea of what to be one with everything means. Where I come from to be one with everything does not exclude being one with the bull shit, one with the idiots, one with driver who just cut you off, nor one with the fools, it does not even exclude being one with the unenlightened. What name could anyone call anyone who is one with everything that could possibly be taken for an insult? Does not the very idea that someone who claims attainment could be insulted put the very lie to what they claim? We see "the who is it?" game played all the time on the list...well who is it that can be insulted?..who is this that can insult? .....or does the fact that a lie might be exposed mean that we have to all pretend there is not a big turd in the sandbox? sorry that is not the way we play zen where I come from. The way to deal with turds in the sandbox is not to pretend they are not there. It is to call a turd a turd, and have someone clean it up and put it where it belongs. And then at dinner the head of training will tell us all not to crap in the sandbox. If he knows who did it, he will tell the person directly in front of everyone, including the person who had to clean it up, not to crap in the sandbox. If this is an insult to the one who crapped in the sandbox, or if people are insulted that they could be thought of as crapping in the sandbox, then perhaps they all should take some responsibility to see there are no turds in the sandbox. It might not be nice, but it is effective at keeping crap out of the sandbox. No no one appointed me head of training. I just do not like a big turd in the sandbox, so I take some responsibility for the disposal of the crap. Someday I might be incontinent and need a little help as well. Consider it a fatal flaw if you would like, I have no problem being one with those who have a fatal flaw. Hell I am even one with those who crap in the sandbox.
