OK, I think we need to qualify what is meant by
'enlightenment'?

Are we talking about Buddhist enlightenment, or just
any old enlightenment?

Because, if you're referring to any old enlightenment,
then I agree with you 100%.

However, if you're honing in on the Buddhist
enlightenment, then living true is not going to cut
it. Yes, living true is a necessary prerequisite, and
without it no one stands a chance, but it is not a
sufficient cause. Complete mastery of the Buddhadharma
is required before one can reach the 'far shore'.

I know that people frown upon this, because they're
looking for an easy way out, but, sorry to rain on
your parade guys, there's no such thing as an easy way
out (at least not here in Canada; I'm not sure about
the land of Disneyworld and Hollywood, though).
