> Does anyone else believe that The Three Stooges were enlightened beings > spreading the Dharma with their own brand of Zen Comedy?
Hello Everybody, I just read a good version of the "Right Speech" precepts By Ryokan. One of the listings is "take care NOT to : speak sanctimoniously." I looked up sanctimonious and this quote explained it. "a solemn, unsmiling, sanctimonious old iceberg that looked like he was waiting for a vacancy in the Trinity" (Mark Twain). I found it funny haha. The 3 Stooges are not funny to me, but who am I ?? BTW -I failed the humour test, and the funny thing is I thought I had a a sense of humour ! ------------------------ Yahoo!
