From: "kyukyo" > You do not even have any idea what it takes to be Catholic because you never really joined the faith of your youth because it was not as pretty in real life as the picture in the books. >
You have no idea what you are talking about. I went through Catholic School, Catholic College where I graduated cum laude and was Vice President of my class. I participated in every rite of passage pursuant to the Catholic faith. I attended Mass every morning. I received First Communion from Cardinal Spellman, and Confirmation from Cardinal O'Connor both when I lived in New York, where I was born. I made a pilgrimage to the Vatican and saw Pope John Paul II at his weekly audience which he used to have for all pilgrims (and/or tourists), and Holy Mass on Sunday with the Pope in the Basilica. Short of becoming a Priest, I embraced Catholicism and fully participated in it until I chose a different route. But thanks for putting your Zen Mind into it, I appreciate your sincere effort to free me from my suffering. Best wishes, Al ------------------------ Yahoo!
