Yesterday my family visited Key West, and one of the popular tourist destinations is the "Southernmost Point" in the USA, which features a large marker painted in red at the end of Whitehead Street where it meets the ocean.
As we posed for pictures a young panhandler walked up and asked if I wanted him to take our pictures together. I gave him the digital camera and walked over to the marker and he took a couple of photos. Seeing that he was shirtless and missing some teeth, I gave him a dollar for his kindness and he was very grateful and he gave me a warm hug. Amazing how much positive energy I felt from this bum. As he hugged me, I hoped that good would come to him. ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Has someone you know been affected by illness or disease?
