The golden silence is great. A zen master would say the universe cannot be 
explained in words. On the other hand, science is now so prevalent that if 
Buddhism cannot be reconciled with it, the future will be a problem.

Thus originated the term: "Silence is Golden" because by maintaining a
mysterious silence the faithful believed that he in fact had some kind of
major insight. Nobody could pick apart his philosophy regarding the Creation
of the Universe since he had none.

The other major religions like Christianity and Judaism did not have the
benefit of the Buddha on their marketing team. They actually wrote detailed
origins of the Universe which eventually became very dated and ridiculous
due to advances in Scientific research and technology.
