Diana, I did not say it is not. I said only 'if'. For non scientist as I am, I would not spend much time trying to search evidence of Buddhism conforming or not to science, but would be interested to read from time to time the relationships between these two different things. At least we know Buddhism does not say the world was created 6,000 years ago in one stroke. It says time is long (without regard to being limited or unlimited) and space is wide with many places with different lives. In my view that complies with science. We should not be discoraged by a few words from scriptures (especially Mahayana) that say there should be man and woman coupling before life starts. How about cloning? Scriptures were written after the Buddha passed away. He was smart enough to keep 'golden silence'. Anthony
