Every time I participate in a discussion, I cite the sources which are the
foundations of my opinions.

Then I have to deal with a bunch of posts from butterfly collectors who just
spout their spiritual opinions based on whatever makes their tummies warm.

No more. If you have something to say, at least cite where you read about
it, or what "Zen Master" told you this specifically. I am not asking anyone
to recite page numbers, I would just like to see some discussion that has a
root in some concrete research and scholarship.

If you would like to participate in a flow-of-thought manner, then join the
Street Fighting Zen list and it is unmoderated and you can moan and groan
all you want about anything that floats your boat.
