I'm a new member of this group but have been impressed by the
quality and sincerity of the postings I have read and in which I
have participated. I have a series of questions I would like to
pose to the group concerning Zen and Buddhism. I would like to have
your responses. I know the ensuing dialogs will help me validate or
alter my understanding, and provide insight into what the other
members of this e-sangha think. [sangha = community]
What is Zen?
What is Buddhism?
What are the differences between Zen and Buddhism?
What is the relationship between Zen and Buddhism?
I invite everyone to respond. This is not a trick and not a trap.
I know very well these are difficult if not impossible concepts to
put into words, but in this e-Sangha words are all we have to
communicate. I hope you will try.
..Bill!
