zenmodeler will apparently only gather info one time, whether the device has been 'removed' or not.
zenperfsnmp will work on a device that zenmodeler has timeout out on.
I'm thinking that I have to remove any trace of a device in order for zenmodeler to do it's thing...
If that is the right track, how to go about it?

More joy.
I went to add a 2k server, and initally failed. So i restarted the zenoss service and had success. I then went to add a second 2k server, failed to gather datils, but added the name. So, i restarted again, same result.
After deleting the initial 2k server, I cannot rediscover it, zenoss restarts and all, altho snmp walk still works...

As before, 'snmpwalk -v 1 public x.x.x.x -m ALL' works and returns a plethora of info.
Akin to the post by Mr. Herbert of 14 August, I've deleted the objects and deleted the folders.
Thoughts or next steps to troubleshoot?

There is no snmp informant installed here, but I should be getting something more than the hostname eh?Any thougths as to what this may be beside's a joy solved by rebooting the 2k3 server?Brandon
